Initia Testnet – Week 3: Step by step guide

We are currently in week 3 of the 8-week testnet campaign by Initia network.
If you haven’t started the testnet yet, you still have the opportunity to join, just follow the step-by-step guide for the Initia testnet.

Also, be sure to check out today’s Initia transaction gas update. It is very important as it has significantly changed the concept and added new requirements.

Week 3 Step by step guide:

  1. Request INIT and GAS test tokens from faucet;
  2. Sent 1 INIT from L1 Initia to Blackwing L2. And follow the steps from the screenshot below;
  1. Next, do the same thing but change destination network to: Noon, Tucana, Init AI, Minimove and Miniwasm;
  2. Also you can click on each of this block on you XP dashboard and the bridge form will be automatically filled in for the selected network;
  1. [Daily activity] Then, by next Tuesday try to collect as much XP as possible. For the last week, I’ve been actively testing possible variations in the XP = number of actions ratio.
    I will make a separate post on this with a dismantling, because it is a rather broad topic.
    Here’s an example of a variant for ~300 XP that I do daily:
    • Initia: Claim XP reward, Claim stacking reward in your dashboard, Vote for proposal;
    • Tucana: 1 swap, 1 adding to liquidity pool, 1 adding to liquidity on Perpetual;
    • Init AI: 1 NFT creation, 1 NFT burning.
  2. Try to get Fillet Mignon from the store, if you can’t get it in a week, then Good Lunch;
  1. Improve the quality of food on the kitchen if you have collected enough;
  1. And finally, don’t forget to feed your Jennie the best food.

Conclusion

Judging by the latest updates and how poorly it has been performing over the past week, the project has been attacked by an invasion of bots. Therefore, they took radical measures and introduced the Gitcoin Passport subversion, which you can read about here.

That’s all. Hope this mini-guide was useful for you.

All the best and take care.
