Taiko is a ZK-Rollup that scales Ethereum by supporting all EVM operation codes in a layer 2 architecture that is decentralized and secure.
The team has been working on Taiko since the first quarter of 2022, while some team members have been involved in ZK-EVM research and development since 2021, and many others have been working on ZK-Rollup scalability and space since 2018. The Taiko Labs team was recognized by Vitalik Buterin for the important pioneering work they are doing with ZK-EVM.
