Linea Voyage: The Surge. How to get Early Adopter role to multiply LXP-L

Important! Please check this important update before do any action from this tutorial regarding Early Adopter role and depositing to Zeroland. (Update: April 15)

Linea Voyage: The Surge is starting soon, detailed in voyage overview post, but to summarize – we’ll be farming LXP-L for providing liquidity in Linea. In other words, we’ll be contributing ETH to the Linea ecosystem.

In this guide we will take part in 4 airdrop projects:

1. EigenLayer
2. Linea
3. Zerolend
4. Renzo

Important: To get an “Early Adopter” you need to deposit 0.1 ETH or more into any DEX on Linea by April 15, 2024.

Key Points:

• The more money you contribute, the more LXP-L you get;
• You can participate without Linea POH attestation;
• To multiply the amount of LXP-Ls you get you need an Early Adopter role
• Early Adopters will receive an increased multiplier on LXP-L:
  • 1st month of Voyage – x1.5
  • 2nd month of Voyage – x1.3
  • 3rd month of Voyage – x1.2.
  • Further on – x1
• Whoever doesn’t get “Early Adopter” role will be farming LXP-L from x1 all the time.

Step by step guide:

1. Fund our wallet with more than 0.1 ETH on the Linea network:

• You can withdrawn ETH from OKX or Bybit exchange (fee 0.66-1.5$)
• Or use one of the following bridges Rhino.fi, Owlto.

2. Deposit ETH to Renzo Protocol:

• Go to the Renzo Protocol website and click [Connect wallet], accept the terms and conditions and connect the wallet in the Linea network
• Click on ETH selector in Restake section and choose ETH in Linea network

• Next, transfer ETH to ezETH by clicking [Confirm] and [Confirm Transaction] and signing the transaction. Also you can increase the gas to “1″, otherwise the transaction may hang for a long time.

Key points of this step:

• For deposited 1 ETH every hour should give 1 EZ and Eigen point each.
• By converting ETH to ezETH you can get EigenLayer and Renzo points.
• You can track your points on the [Portfolio] tab (updating every 24 hours).

3. Deposit ezETH in Zerolend:

• Go to Zeroland Airdrop website and click [Enter Zero Gravity]

• At the top right click [Connect wallet] and pass the captcha if it appears.
• Connect your wallet, change the network to Linea network and sign all the transactions
• Next, move to Zerolend App and at the top right header section click [Connect Wallet] and select [Browser Wallet] to connect your Metamask

• Next change market from Ethereum to Linea by clicking on [Ethereum LRTs Market] selector

• Scroll down and click on [Renzo ezETH] item

• Click [Supply] specify the quantity and click [Approve] and sign the transaction

• After approving click on [Supply ezETH] and sign the 2nd transaction. You can increase gas to “1” otherwise the transaction may hang for a long time.
• Go to [Dashboard] and toggle the slider to enable [Isolated] on the ezETH and sign the transaction.
• Click [Borrow] against the ETH, specify the amount of the loan (!! Important NOT MORE than 50% of the amount you deposited in ezETH) and click [Approve] and sign the transaction.

• After approving click [Borrow ETH] and confirm transaction.

Key points of this step:

• For every 1$ added to liquidity you get 1 Point per day.
• For every 1$ borrowed, you get 4 Points per day.
• Points will be exchanged for $ZERO tokens at TGE
• You can check points on this page (updated every 6 hours)

Important: You can only get an Early Adopter until April 15, and Linea Surge starts on April 17.

Conclusion

This is the best way to become an Early Adopter and increase the number of LXP-Ls you receive. Using it, you can qualify for airdrops from 4 projects at once. This guide indicates the minimum amount to get the role. If you wish, you can make a larger deposit before starting the campaign.
